Swazi Passport

Swaziland

Swaziland, now known as Eswatini, is a small landlocked country in Southern Africa. With a population of approximately 1.1 million, it is one of the world's last remaining absolute monarchies. The Swazi passport is a travel document issued to citizens of Eswatini for international travel.

Holders of a Swazi passport can access 52 countries without a visa. They can also apply for electronic visas (e-visas) in 19 countries and obtain visas upon arrival in 20 countries. In 139 countries, Swazi citizens are required to obtain a visa before traveling.

While the Swazi passport does not offer the same level of visa-free access as some other passports, it still provides ample opportunities for international travel. The government of Eswatini continues to work on improving its passport and expanding visa-free access for its citizens.
